It's funny, because I painted this for the Game of Thrones card game which came out years before the show. And I noticed how the pillars in the throne room reminded me of this piece: sedone.deviantart.com/art/Para….
That's... one hell of a coincidence. Also, you painted the Game of Thrones card games?! I have it and love it with a passion. I had no idea that you were the one who designed them. That's fucking amazing!
This is so beautiful. I love the lines of her face (I'm especially fond of the nose--I love good noses in art ), and the way she's looking straight at the viewer suggests a delicate strength. She looks like she's seen a lot--and would have lots of stories to tell--except that she's learned the power of silence and feels things too deeply to trivialize them in the telling. Really--just beautiful.
This... is gorgeous. So delicate and elegant and full of beauty. And do not mean only the woman, but your work. Your style in this piece is so well-employed! I feel I will spend many moments just trying to take in all the details.
